this is just like an upside down illusion. An excellent Anagram/Ambigram "Black and White" the word black in left, what u have to do is just flip the picture to make the word black word white
Here is an interesting photograph. This photo was not manipulated with Photoshop or any other photo manipulation software.
How is this illusory effect accomplished?
I constantly get people coming to this site by searching for "scary optical illusion", I've seen many optical illusions but I wouldn't call any of them scary. Unless of course you are 4 years old. I mean if you were very young then this illusion might be scary.
Personally I love this illusion it is a special summertime illusion that the whole family can enjoy.
For those of you that get to the beach this year try your own illusion and send the picture in to this site. I might create a special section for do it yourself illusions. This won't be limited to beach illusions, any image that tricks our perception is welcome.
A coffee counter, a tea cup, just the right angle, and voila these men are sharing Disney's Tea Cup ride while at lunch.

You'll see below some people think that having a computer desktop that is transparent is also something that might be of interest to the consumers out there. Of course there are better ways to create a transparent desktop than using the technology above. You can see the whole gallery of transparent desktops here.
The below two images are quite interesting. The image on the left gives us the impression of having 5 holes and 1 bump. The image on the right looks like it has 5 bumps and 1 hole. What makes this a fascinating optical illusion is the fact that these are the exact same image.
That's right these two images are identical, one is turned upside down. The simple act of turning this image upside down completely changed our assessment of the image.
The reason for this is that the brain assumes that light comes from above. For centuries the best light source was the sun (came from above). Now we have various sources of light but one thing most of them have in common is that designers typically put all major light sources above us. This is a very strong predisposition on our part. Thus we view shadows and light with the assumption that the light is coming from above.
Another example can be seen below. The top image seems to be a large dome, could this be a lava dome preparing to erupt?

In this illusion the apparent orifice in the center expands and contracts as
you move your head closer to the image and pull back from the image.
Like the impossible triangle illusions of the past here is a modern day impossible object. Utilizing legos, a Sony Cybershot camera and some old fashioned know how the artist created this exceptional optical illusion.

Art from my upcoming Harper/Collins graphic novel, "BAM! The 44th President". I just turned it in this week to my editor. I had a great time doing the book. The president's life story is truly inspirational, and through my research I came to understand that it's his positive attitude that makes him successful. Most people who grow up surrounded by poverty with no father let the experience make them cynical and pessimistic. This crazy guy saw no good reason to believe his past was anything but past. I realize now that if a guy like him could make it through Harvard and become president, I can attain any goal I focus on with faith.
I read both of his books, and even though this guy encountered many things folks would view as obstacles, he doesn't write a single complaint. By contrast, I read a long interview I gave for a recent book called Modern Masters, and I must have used the word "problem" on every page at least twice! I mean, I'm living my dream job, the title of the book I'm interviewed in is called "Modern Masters," a real compliment to be sure, and all I do is complain for a hundred pages! Wow! The illustrations in Modern Masters are great, by the way. The editors picked some fantastic illustrations from the last 25 years.
But I digress. This Obama story inspired me to clean up my attitude. From now on, I'm staying positive! I have no complaints!
